Jean-Pierre Boillat creates a precision turning company in Biele specialising in the production of parts for the watch and clockmaking industry.

1971
The company relocates to its own industrial premises at Loveresse.

1974
The business becomes a limited company.
Continuation of the policy of investing in high-tech machines.
Development of engineering know-how through the establishment of commercial relations with new application sectors. Opening of export markets.

1989
Jacques Boillat takes charge of the company’s future.
Development of a policy of customer/supplier dialogue designed to ensure an optimal technical and economic solution.
Installation of the first numerically controlled machines.

1990
Strengthening of technical structures and quality control.
Major investments in measuring equipment and SPC system.

1993
ISO 9002 certification.

2001
In line with its policy of openness and innovation, Boillat Décolletage SA plays an active part in the foundation of Swiss Microtech, a ‘network’ enterprise allowing customers to benefit from a wide range of skills.

ISO 14001/2004 certification.

Construction of a new hall doubling production space. New layout conforming to production cycle flows.

Renewal of IT infrastructure including CAPM, SPC and CAM.

New company identity: Boillat Technologies.
