  • 1962-1963

    Jean-Pierre and Renée Boillat found a precision turning workshop in Biel/Bienne, Route de Soleure 18, specializing in the manufacture of components for the watchmaking industry.

  • 1964-1970

    Still in Biel/Bienne, they relocate into more spacious facilities, Rue du Crêt 45.

  • 1971

    Establishment of the company in its own industrial premises in Loveresse.

  • 1974

    The company changes its legal form to an Ltd. Investment in high-performance machinery able to respond to the diversification of its activity towards new sectors of applications. Export markets are developed.

  • 1989

    Jacques Boillat assumes responsibility for the future of the company. Development of a customer/supplier consultation policy in order to offer an optimal technical and economic solution. Introduction of the first digitally controlled machines.

  • 1990

    Technical structures and quality control is strengthened. Extensive investments are made in measuring equipment and SPC system.

  • 1993

    Certification according to the ISO 9001.

  • 2002

    Certification according to the ISO 14001

  • 2006

    Construction of a new 1500 m2 hall which double the production area. The new plant is optimally adapted inaccordance with the existing production cycle flows.

  • 2007

    Upgrading of the IT infrastructure including CAPM, SPC and FAO.

  • 2008

    New corporate identity: Boillat Technologies.

  • 2009

    Certification according to ISO 13485.

  • 2010

    Creation of an assembly unit for microtechnic subsets.

  • 2013

    Nicolas Boillat joins the company as a representative of the family’s third generation.

  • 2018

    Opening of a new multi-spindle production department.

  • 2019

    Caroline Boillat joins the company as a representative of the family’s third generation. Launch of a new expansion project for the company.
